With a strong presence worldwide, it focuses on investment banking, markets, asset management, and consumer finance. And they are looking for KDB Developer to join their team for a 6 or 12 month contract.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • System Design: Architect and optimize data system components (e.g., historical databases, real-time data ingestion, gateways) using kdb+ and the Q programming language.
    • Data Processing: Develop and maintain efficient pipelines for processing high volumes of time-series data and other complex structured data.
    • Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for kdb+ environments to ensure maximum speed and reliability.
    • Data Integration: Design and implement interfaces to facilitate kdb+ communication with other systems and applications using various technologies.
    • Troubleshooting: Actively diagnose and resolve production issues and provide technical support for developed systems.

     

    Essential Skills and Qualifications

    • Expertise in Q/kdb+: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex kdb+ database and Q applications.
    • Data Modeling: Strong skills in data modeling and designing efficient columnar data structures.
    • Programming: Proficiency in at least one additional programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++), used for tooling and integration purposes.
    • Architecture: Experience managing and maintaining distributed kdb+ environments.
    • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong technical communication skills.

  • ISDA Negotiator

    Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, Global Market and investment management services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is headquartered in New York and maintains offices in London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Bengaluru, Hong Kong and other major financial centers around the world.

    Responsibilities:

    • ISDA, CSA and Derivative Master Agreements and related ancillary documents.
    • Review legal opinions on netting and collateral enforceability including liaising with external counsel.
    • Work, both internally and with counterparts, to gather comments and information.
    • Organize execution of completed agreements and dispatch for counterparts’ signature.
    • Ensure return of signed documents and completion and closing of files.
    • Respond to queries on the master documentation from various departments, including the front office.
    • Leverage your experience to identify risks and improve the effectiveness of the team.
    • Develop and nurture relationships across the firm to build consensus and execute on initiatives.

  • Administrative Assistant

    Strategic Staffing Solutions client- a global financial services company- is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant to join its Global Banking & Markets division in Warsaw. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to 5–6 Managing Directors, as well as ad-hoc assistance to more junior team members.

    You will be part of a collaborative team of assistants supporting professionals across company, ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Full in-house and remote training will be provided, along with ongoing support from the Team Supervisor throughout the engagement.

    This position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within finance or professional services, who thrives on organization, precision, and initiative.

    This position is offered as an 18-month contract with the possibility of extension. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide extensive diary and calendar management for multiple Managing Directors
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls across various time zones
    • Manage high volumes of emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication
    • Arrange internal and external meetings, including room and video conference bookings across multiple locations
    • Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, car bookings, and visa applications
    • Prepare and reconcile expense reports and process invoices
    • Support general office administration, including attendance tracking and internal records
    • Assist in ad-hoc administrative tasks and project-based requests while maintaining workflow efficiency
    • Offer holiday and phone coverage for colleagues when needed
    • Support team members with day-to-day queries and logistical needs

    Required Skills & Competencies

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant
    • Proven ability in diary management, travel coordination, and logistics planning
    • Strong M365 / Outlook proficiency is essential
    • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written); Polish required; German a strong plus
    • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive tasks independently
