  • Security Consultant with German language skills

    Strategic Staffing Solutions International client — a global IT company that supports major organizations in their digital transformation efforts. Their team develops innovative IT solutions, transitions clients to the cloud, integrates digital processes, and manages IT systems operations and support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Advise our customers in the area of Microsoft security tools such as: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft 365 Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
    • Set up and configure these security tools for customers as part of projects, adding functionality where required.
    • Perform and manage Attack Surface Reduction activities.
    • Support advisory service activities, including reporting, steering and customer discussions where needed.
    • Provide support within the framework of tenders or pre-sales activities.
    • Participate in training courses and webinars from Microsoft or partners.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in computer science or comparable training, ideally with a focus on IT security.
    • Several years of project experience in dealing with Microsoft security tools and their introduction.
    • Solid practical experience in Windows system administration; experience with Linux administration is an advantage.
    • Experience with the architectures and security concepts of Microsoft Azure.
    • Excellent verbal and written English and good German language skills: required for communication across our international locations and with international clients.
    • Relevant certifications e.g. AZ-500, MS-500, SC-200 would be considered as an advantage.

  • Junior German Speaking Service Desk Specialist

    As a Service Desk Specialist you will be a part of Global Delivery Service Operations unit and a member of the Service Desk team, who focus on delivering support in incident management, providing high quality services to customers all around the world. You will be responsible for supporting customers in system inquiries, working closely and establishing global connection with colleagues in different locations in the world.

    What you will do:

    • Provide 1st Level Support
    • Respond to customer inquiries via e-mail/ticketing system or phone
    • Process and monitor technical incidents
    • Advise and support the customer in consideration of functional requests
    • Assist the customer in resolving 1st level issues
    • Dispatch and track tickets for the 2nd and 3rd level of support
    • Follow up on any customer issues requiring additional research

    Work schedule:

    • Shift structure: Start as early as 7 AM and end no later than 9 PM
    • On-Call Duties: Night time (9 PM to 7 AM) and on weekends on rotation

    We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer / Architect to help design and build modern web applications using PHP (Symfony) and React. You’ll work on both frontend and backend systems, ensure solid architecture, and help guide technical decisions across the team.

    Responsibilities
    • Design and develop web applications using Symfony (PHP) and React (JavaScript).
    • Create and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code.
    • Work closely with designers, developers, and product teams.
    • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and other backend services.
    • Review code, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high performance.
    • Contribute to technical planning and architectural decisions.
    • Support and mentor other developers when needed.

    Requirements
    • Strong experience with PHP 8+ and Symfony framework.

    Senior Indirect Tax Specialist is a person, who takes on the responsibility for VAT processes and declarations for client Business Unit(s), in accordance with agreed timeline and quality.

    Main requirements:

    • Higher education in Economics/ Finance or relevant field;
    • Previous experience in Accounting or finance (experience in VAT accounting will be
    • considered as an advantage);
    • Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with Business Units and colleagues in Europe and USA;
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines;
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, previous experience with ERP systems will be considered as an advantage.
    • Knowledge of German would be considered as an advantage.

    Responsibilities:

    • Acquire, analyze and prepare VAT data/ declarations and ensure accurate, compliant and timely submission of VAT declarations;
    • Support VAT payment and refund process;
    • Maintain accounting procedures related to VAT: settlements, reconciliation of VAT accounts, etc.;
    • Maintain ERP master data for indirect taxes;
    • Perform quality controls: SOX controls and Internal team’s controls;
    • Contribute to other projects and duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
