Danske Bank is preparing a large scale migration from SAS mainframe and SAS Windows to SAS Viya. We are seeking a senior project manager to lead the platform track and ensure the SAS Viya environment is fully prepared, scalable, and ready for onboarding users starting in 2026. The role covers a delivery period of approximately 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end execution of the SAS Viya platform readiness track
• Drive planning, scoping, and execution activities for the migration
• Coordinate closely with infrastructure, security, engineering, data, and business stakeholders
• Secure timely delivery of platform components and remove blockers proactively
• Establish clear governance, reporting, milestones, and follow up routines
• Ensure compliance with Danske Bank architecture, risk, and operational standards
• Prepare capacity, performance, and scalability plans for onboarding user groups
• Oversee testing readiness: environments, access, stability, performance
• Manage vendor and internal partner commitments and escalate when needed
• Provide structured updates to steering groups and ensure transparency of risks and decisions

Profile Requirements

• Strong project management track record in complex technology environments
• Demonstrated experience in platform migration or enterprise data platform delivery
• High degree of structure, clarity in communication, and consistent follow up
• Ability to push progress, challenge stakeholders, and secure outcomes under time constraints
• Solid understanding of platforms or data technologies. SAS experience is an advantage
• Experience working in regulated environments or financial institutions is a plus
• Fluent in English with strong stakeholder management skills
