Strategic Staffing Solutions’ customer is a global semiconductor company focused on developing advanced electronic components and supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.
Since their Lipa site is growing, they are looking for a Senior EHS & Sustainability Engineer to lead environmental compliance, drive sustainability programs, and strengthen health and safety standards across the site.
What you will do:
- Lead environmental and sustainability programs aligned with global EHS strategy
- Work closely with global and regional EHS teams to roll out site-wide initiatives
- Drive projects focused on waste reduction, energy use, emissions, and resource efficiency
- Monitor EHS and sustainability data to identify risks and improvement areas
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and internal standards
- Support sustainability reporting and ESG-related activities
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections
- Lead environmental risk assessments and corrective actions
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to embed sustainable practices
- Deliver awareness programs to improve employee engagement in EHS topics
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in EHS, with focus on environmental compliance and sustainability
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance systems
- Experience working with global EHS teams or multinational environments
- Background in sustainability reporting, ESG, or carbon reduction initiatives is a plus
- Safety Officer 4 certification
- Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
