Financial Control Officer
Strategic Staffing Solutions Client – a leading manufacturing giant – is currently looking for a new team member to join them in their France location.
You can expect to prepare, monitor, and control reporting tables (actual, forecast, budget, etc.) for entities and
the group before submitting them to management, in compliance with US GAAP regulations and SOX requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in monthly and annual closing entries
- Review and explain monthly results
- Prepare, analyze, and review the forecast/budget
- Ensure the consolidation of actual and forecast figures
- Manage fixed assets and investment files (AFE)
- Prepare monthly and annual reports
- Ensure the review and approval of balance sheet accounts.
- Manage your team
Requirements
- Knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and general accounting
- Knowledge of management control and project financial management
- Ability to post accounting transactions in accordance with regulations
- Ability to manage fixed assets and investment files
- Ability to perform financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of reporting tools and ability to create dashboards
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Knowledge of communication and facilitation principles
- Ability to present arguments
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional working groups and/or projects
- Ability to report on project progress clearly to senior management and stakeholders
