Strategic Staffing Solutions International is supporting a global Fortune 500 client in the pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics sector in hiring an IT Project Manager with large-scale enterprise transformations experience for a project within HR Technology Realm. Key component is Payroll/WorkDay experience.
Key responsibilities:
1.End-to-End Project Planning:
- Develop and manage interim milestones and tasks within an organized project plan
- Outlining timelines, resources, deliverables, and ownership
- Facilitate regular cadence of status discovery meetings as needed
- Consistent follow-up, maintaining a proactive approach to quickly identify and mitigate risks and issues (RAID)
- Assertive driver to gather needs from the team in accordance with requirements and deliverables
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations, focusing on seamless platform implementation
2.Coordination and Collaboration:
- Serve as the key liaison between these teams (BA, Delivery, Platform, Vendor, Architect, PMs, PGMs etc.) to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all other corresponding delivery teams, internal controls, InfoSec, and other delivery teams.
3.Proactive Issue and Risk Management:
- Anticipate, identify, and address potential issues and risks before they escalate
- Identify and manage all dependencies and interlocks for the project
- Coordinate with internal controls to ensure compliance and implement solutions swiftly to minimize disruptions
- Develop and communicate effective mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders
4.Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports and meeting notes, with a focus on project metrics and outcomes
- Regularly update stakeholders on progress, emphasizing successes and challenges.
5.Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation specific to the project
- Provide financial reports to leadership, emphasizing budget adherence and financial projections related to the project
Other:
o Adhere to other duties and requirements of the Company’s technology enablement and direct management
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of overall experience, including payroll management and technology enablement.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise transformations, global payroll integration, standardization, and optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of global payroll processes, including understanding payroll timing and implementation.
- Preferably experience with Workday, and experience working with various global payroll systems
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and personalities, assertive personality, able to present to high-level leaders.
