What you’ll do:
- Record and report company fixed assets (such as equipment, buildings, and machinery) accurately and on time according to company deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
- Investigate and resolve accounting errors or discrepancies related to fixed assets for the assigned business unit.
- Work closely with technical teams and project leaders to track and account for capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
- Ensure all accounting activities follow internal controls and company guidelines.
- Support the Fixed Assets Team Lead in coordinating daily team tasks and helping the team achieve its goals.
- Maintain and update documentation, procedures, and work instructions related to fixed assets accounting.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving fixed assets accounting and reporting processes.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and training initiatives within the team.
What you’ll need:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Relevant work experience in accounting, at least 2 years, preferably within an international work environment.
- Fluent English language skills to communicate with business units and colleagues in Europe.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, with a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Good computer skills and general accounting system background (SAP, Oracle JDE and Longview is an advantage).
