DevOps and Platform Engineer (6+6)

Currently, the company is hiring DevOps and platform engineer to join their Application Observability team.
This team plays a critical role in managing services within the Service Reliability and Observability (SRO) department

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and refining monitoring and alerting rules, both for the team and organisation-wide
  • Work together with other teams (Platform and Observability Backend) to enhance performance and fulfil user stories
  • Working on projects such as Grafana’s migration from on-premises data centres to AWS by planning, defining requirements, supervising and implementing
  • Improving the deployment of services using Git workflows and ArgoCD
  • Proposing and validating performance and user experience improvements for team services
  • Addressing issues, implementing preventive measures and managing postmortems and related improvement tasks
  • Analysing performance, identifying anomalies and defining, documenting and implementing corrective measures
  • Ensuring compliance with the SLA

Requirements:

  • software engineer with a strong background in DevOps and platform engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer or within the SRE domain
  • Proven experience in ownership roles, including defining strategies, deploying, monitoring
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Strong sense of ownership with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Hands-on experience with server-side technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS or OpenShift)
  • Expertise in managing observability and monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills
  • Ability to start ASAP (preferred)
